Computer hangs when CD-ROM is ejected from drive due to incompatible drive.

Cause:

The CD-ROM drive is not fully compatible with its protected mode driver.

Solution:

Contact next-level support or the CD-ROM drive manufacturer for an updated protected mode driver.
NOTE: The CD-ROM drive may function normally if you reinstall the drive using a real mode driver.
